Arindam: - Viewers, today, we are in a remote village of West Bengal. Actually, our entire unit of ‘JAGRATA JANATA’ series have come to this spot in response to a letter sent to the postal address of our ‘Royal Bengal Tigers (RBT)’ TV Channel last week. The letter was written by a little girl Rita, who studies in this village school. She is the ‘Jagrata Janata’ in today’s show. Now, let me tell you, what was actually written in that letter. Rita is the daughter of Mr. Jagannath, who is a Physics teacher of this village college. Mr. Jagannath was a CPI (M) MLA last year. This year only, he changed his party. He is now a TMC MLA of this region and is going to contest in the forthcoming panchayat election of West Bengal. Unfortunately, the competitor of Mr. Jagannath is the class teacher of Rita. His name is Mr. Haradhan. Rita always comes first in the school of this village. But, alas, this year in class V, she has failed in the Annual Examination. How can a girl, who always used to come first in class, have failed in History, Geography and English? Actually, these three subjects were taught by Mr. Haradhan only. Rita has secured more than 75% marks in all other subjects in the Annual examination of class V, except in these three subjects. That’s why; Rita has sent a letter to us and said, ‘I am the victim of politics in West Bengal.’ Viewers, we were just stunned after reading this letter. Rita is a good and sweet girl. She studied hard to get high marks, but, alas, her only fault is that she is the daughter of a politician in West Bengal. We have forwarded the case to a reputed social activist, whose name is Jyotsna Ghosh Dastidar. She is expert in handling these cases. She dragged both Mr. Haradhan and Mr. Jagannath to the local court. Luckily, the ‘Mahakuma Sashak’, Mr. Bikramjeet cooled down Mrs. Jyotsna and has organized a ‘Lok Adalat’ type scenario in this village. We have also been invited to participate in it. Let us see, what is going on here.
**************************
Mrs. Jyotsna: - Show us, the Geography, History and English examination papers of Rita, that you have checked?
Mr. Haradhan: - I have sold all those exam papers to a raddiwala. Rita has failed in these three subjects.
Mr. Bikramjeet: - how can you sell those Exam papers to a raddiwala?
Mr. Haradhan: - Well, after every examination, we sell off those exam papers.
Mr. Jagannath: - Accept it, Haradhan, that you have played politics on my little girl because I am a TMC MLA. You have intentionally given her less than 40% in all those subjects. Accept it.
Mr. Haradhan: - Then you also accept it that your TMC party goons attacked my son, when he contested for the post of general secretary in this village college. Your party people have forcefully won that election in the college.
**************************
Arindam: - Oops…the same old story is getting repeated here. It’s a never ending issue. The West Bengal will burn to ashes one day due to this TMC VS CPI (M) clashes. Viewers, let us just have a walk in this remote village and ask the villagers that how they feel about these political clashes.
**************************
Villager 01:- Saab, we, the poor villagers send our children to schools and colleges with a dream that they will become a successful educated person one day. But, they get trained in how to create bombs, how to shoot with a revolver, how to pelt stones and how to do politics in every sphere of the society. We never went to schools in our life, maybe, that is why; we are still humans.
Villager 02:- We are poor people. We sweat by doing hard work to earn money. It hardly matters to us whether TMC wins the election or CPI (M). Whoever comes to power, our conditions remain the same.
Villager 03:- We are not saying that politics is bad. But, at least, it should be carried out in a peaceful and rational manner.
***********************
Arindam: - So, viewers, after taking feedback from these villagers, we come to the ultimate conclusion that, “POOR PEOPLE PREFER PEACEFUL POLITICS (PPPPP).”
